Adam Milstein Announces The Second Annual Video Contest

The details of the video contest, inspired by Israel, have been announced by Adam Milstein. The 12Tribe films foundation has partnered with the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation on this. The contest will be hosted on israelvideonetwork.com. Participants will be required to submit videos that educate, inspire and entertain people about Israel. The winning videos will get a total of $20,000 cash prizes, including a Grand Prize of $8,000.

Adam said that the contest would offer a brilliant and dynamic way to show the world the amazing innovations, people and places in Israel. The contest will provide a unique opportunity for everyone (people of all faiths, ages, and backgrounds) to share the reasons why Israel inspires them. Adam mentioned that during the previous year, nearly a hundred videos from more than twelve countries were received. The creators included college and high school students, a kindergarten class, and even renowned filmmakers.

After the public votes, the top ten award winners will be chosen by a panel. The panel will comprise independent experts such as Gila Milstein, David Suissa (The Jewish Journal Media President) and Michael Dickson (the executive director of Israel’s StandWithUs)

David Suissa said that Israel was built on inspiration and that he was delighted to participate in this year’s competition as a jury member. He can’t wait to see the videos entrants will submit.

Participants are required to register before 1st February, and the videos are submitted by 6th March. The public will be let to vote for their favorite videos between 20th and 29th of March. Winners shall be announced on 30th April.

Adam Milstein is an active philanthropist and a pro-Israel activist. He co-founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation with his wife, Gila Milstein. His foundation offers philanthropic and charitable services to other organizations to strengthen the Jewish people, the State of Israel and the Israel-US relationship. The organization was founded in 2000.

Adam joined the Israel Defense Forces and fought during the 1973 Yom Kippur war. He later joined the Institute of Technology in Israel and attained a degree in business and economics in 1978. He also acceded to the Southern California University for his Master degree in Business Administration.
