As an importance fixture in the medical community, Dr. Scott Rocklage has continued to help pursue and release advancements in prescription medication for individuals around the world. Since 2004, Dr. Rocklage has been a Managing Partner of 5AM Venture Management LLC and uses his decades of healthcare management experience to further enhance the relationship between the provider and the patient.
Dr. Rocklage is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. As a continuation of his formal education, Dr. Rocklage went to graduate and receive a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
At MIT, Dr. Rocklage was involved in laboratory research under Richard Schrock, who won a Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2005. After completing his higher education, Dr. Rocklage quickly entered the healthcare field and began his decorated career.
Before his time at 5AM Ventures, Dr. Rocklage served as a Chairmen for Cubist Pharmaceuticals, where he also held the title of CEO from 2000 to 2004.
